Meet Unifii’s Ireland Team: Your Dependable, Local ServiceNow Irish Partner

Updated: 25th Aug, 2023

Team Unifii: Powering ServiceNow Dublin for Irish Customers nationwide

At Unifii, our Irish clients hold a special place in our hearts, so much so that we opened an Irish office, a dedicated space that fosters strong relationships with our valued customers and within our own team. Back in 2018, Unifii Ireland emerged as a testament to this commitment. Andrea Wallace, our director of Unifii Ireland will guide us through the team and any exciting updates coming!

Can you tell us how the Irish operation came about?

In 2018, the establishment of Unifii Ireland marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey. It all started when I pitched the idea of a dedicated Irish operation to the Directors of Unifii.  I saw a clear gap in the market for a local ServiceNow partner with local expertise experience and as one of the only ServiceNow partners with consultants in-country, this has now become the cornerstone of Unifii Ireland’s success. Looking back, it’s ironic that our growth has directly mirrored that of ServiceNow itself and confirms that this was the right thing to do both for our business and for our Irish customers on the ground. This local presence gives our customers a great sense of comfort knowing that there are local resources available to support them, resources that have that deep understanding of their operating environment.

Can you give us a brief overview of the Irish office?

Located along the charming banks of the River Liffey, our office is in the heart of Dublin’s financial district, Dublin 1. Conveniently situated along on the LUAS (tram) line, accessibility is a breeze, even for those commuting from outside the city. We work closely with our colleagues from the other Unifii locations, be it London, Edinburgh, and Hyderabad in India and we often get together. So location-wise it makes no difference. Well apart from the Guinness of course, ours is always going to be nicer!

Can you introduce us to the team members?

The Dublin team now is all women, not by choice but it just so happened that way, which is quite unusual for IT and we do hope to change that soon! It is a fun environment, but we get the work done too. We all bring different skills to the table, which when combined create a great blend of expertise for our customers to draw on. One of the main things we have in common is hard work and dedication along with the Irish “Craic” or fun!

Any memorable experiences from the Irish office?

In the wake of the Covid pandemic, reconnecting with customers in person has been a refreshing change. Our team has done a good bit of that including our notable FoCus event held in Dublin this May. Centred around our customers, the event brought together like-minded ServiceNow users and formed a collaborative space for sharing their own corporate narratives and challenges. Aiming to assist them in solving their problems, we brainstormed tailored solutions to address their individual pains. We have also spotlighted the latest in ServiceNow innovations, showcasing what’s new and exciting.

We also had some of our UK colleagues joining us, enriching the experience. Our own Mike Turner delved into reporting and analytics by introducing us to the new target operating model and demonstrating how organisations can apply and utilise these new functionalities to upgrade user experience and configuration options. Tom Devlin, Senior Solutions Consultant from ServiceNow, also led an interactive workshop, delivering a detailed summary of the most recent platform updates in the Utah release. The event exemplified our commitment to continuous learning and the shared growth within the ServiceNow community.

Any upcoming plans for 2023/2024?

We’re gearing up to host a series of similar events in the coming months and there’ll definitely be some activity here in Q3 and Q4 to report. Keep an eye out on our event page for the latest updates.

We also plan on more customer visits with a view to planning more road mapping as we believe this is pivotal in strengthening our relationships with customers. This empowers them to allocate the right amount of resources and plan effectively for the future. We also meet up with ServiceNow Account Executives regularly to stay current and co-create solutions for our mutual accounts. The partnership worked well in the past and we are enthusiastic to build on this.

Is there more to Unifii than work?

Beyond our professional pursuits, we feel it’s really important to give back to the community. We’re proud advocates of various charitable endeavours. Among them is a parachute jump in October in support of Dogs for Disabled who train dogs to assist people with Parkinsons . We’re also sponsoring the Cycle2Croatia fundraiser, which aims to generate over EUR60,000 for three charities including Laura Lynn, Mental Health Ireland and Diabetes Ireland.

Don’t forget to follow us on our LinkedIn page if you would like to support us or simply keep an eye on what we’re up to. As a local ServiceNow Elite partner, the Unifii team has thrived within the Irish landscape and we’ve had the privilege of working with an array of remarkable customers here on the Green Isle, from IT companies, large retail organisations, food and beverage enterprises to insurance companies.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to those clients for their loyalty and support and we look forward to continuing our work with you into the future.
